shopping for bras is a pain, mostly because you have to get all undressed, try em on, then get all redressed, go get new ones, get all undressed again add nausiem, I think there needs to be naked bra shopping! undress and then don't bother getting redressed until you have the perfect one :D

Hah, yeh :D I'm just going to grab a handful of different styles, and as style influences fit sometimes, a couple of different sizes.

Well, you know I have had some of the same issues with my pups but I have chosen to go with what looks best and suffer the pain...although the minute I am home the damn things come off.

I would say we should burn them all but I don't want my girls down around my knees.

I want them to look good AND feel good. I need comfort, I have enough discomfort with other parts of my body without them joining in *sigh* I'm sure it will work out, ut I'm just not looking forward to going back to the shop AGAIN. I get the impression she wasn't that happy that I took the others back, but then neither was I. I dunno, I think the style's all wrong for me on this one.
I'll find something...somewhere.

I have always had a problem with bras. If they fit in the cup, they don't fit around. I'm not large in that area, but I'm a little broad around, so the two never go together. I finally found a few bras that fit in the cup size and bought a package of extenders (an idea my friend gave me) that come in three different bra colors. I now have very pretty, comfortable bras and with the extenders, (which you don't even notice) I'm comfortable all day!

I have never been measured for a proper fit. I want to be....I'm just to shy to let some one I don't know see my boobs. which seems rather odd...in my 20's I was more then happy to flash them at any one that wanted a peek!

I hate bras with straps that are constantly slipping down. I think between every other customer I deal with I am digging in my shirt pulling them back up!

maybe if we all band together and burn our bras again we will start a new fashion trend.....boobs by our knees!

Well I've decided I want a bloke with big hands to walk behind me all day cupping my baps. That way they get the support they need without the discomfort of things digging in, plus they stay warm, I get pleasure from having a nice pair of man hands on my baps and hopefully said big handed geezer gets some pleasure from holding them. *shrugs* seems like a good idea to me, I think I could be onto something LOL

I'm lucky, my oldest cub worked at a shop and learned to measure. That said, I don't tend to do the measure thing. I just scamper in and grab a bra when I need one. They are probably not the exact right ones, but they feel good and I think they look just fine.

I sure as hell hope you get this squared away soon. It sucks to have your boobies pinched!

Hubby wants to know what it pays. When I told him it was volunteer only, he snapped his fingers and sighed. He's all for letting the puppies breathe, though. :)

Otherwise--maybe the things would be more comfortable if you take the wire/plastic whatever out from under the cups. That way, you get the right size, style, and still the wire is not digging in. Because there is no wire.

Is that a viable idea?

Herself hates bras. She's a DD so she knows she probably ought to wear one, and recognizes that some post 30 droopage is partly due to not wearing a bra, but she's still fairly perky and she has the same problem...they all hurt her, except the occasional sports bra.

I haven't been able to wear a bra (or undies, for that matter) in months because of my skin problems. I actually prefer to wear one...but given that in the last 5 years I've been a D, DD, a C, a D, a C, a B, and a AA and am back to a DD again (due to nursing, HRT, Lupus weight loss, medication, weight loss and more weight loss, and then serious weight gain due to steroids)...I've damn near given up figuring out what size I'm going to be anytime soon...let alone once I get the steroid striae healed up...if.

Good luck. One of my best friends in the world had breast reduction recently and was SO happy to FINALLY be able to buy a bra in a regular store. Another friend did it a few years ago and feels terrific. Boobies are fun, but not when they hurt.....
