I see there's a new film coming out (or possibly already out to some of you folk that dwell over the Great Pond) called The Bucket List. No I'm not going to see it (I dont think) and I'm not really going to be talking about that, buuuuut it does remind me of something a friend and I did recently.

We had a conversation about what kind of things we wanted to do before we reached a point where we were unable to ie dead / infirm. We decided to make The List. On that list is pretty much anything really LOL. For instance my friend has never been bowling, so she put that on it (as well as passing her driving test hee hee) and both of us have put to go to a roller disco as we haven't roller skated since we were kids LOL now THAT should be interesting ;D

My list includes getting this new car that I'm after, a holiday to Norway, Iceland, New Zealand and a few other places, singing kareoke (which won't be fun for anyone but me as I can't sing *sniggers* ), keeping in touch with my friends more and a few other things. I want to get older knowing I did some of the things I wanted, its not a lot to ask is it? LOL

The main theme of the List is fun really. Sometimes we forget to have fun in our serious little worlds. Fun and laughter can lighten some dark moments, well I find they can anyway (and I try to get as much of it as I can get, fun and laughter that is, not dark moments LOL)

Well, that's enough of my little ramble, it's late and I need sleep (at least I'm not having nightmares anymore *sigh of relief* I was getting tired of being tired and having to carry the dark bags under my eyes *titter*) so I hall leave you with a piccie of the car I WILL get (when I can find one - they appear to be quite popular and you don't see many of the 'used' ones for sale. I hate that word 'used', why can't they just stick to something like 'second-hand' or 'not-new'. 'used' makes me think of used condoms or used knickers (ew)...maybe that's just my uh...tired brain...uh...yeh...)

EDIT: Say...what happened to my shoutbox and menus and shit in here?? *looks round* Where'd they go? Did they run off with my muse? O-o
Anyone know what's happened?????

Shout box and stuff seem to be right were you left them!

I have thought about doing a "list" like that, right now the only thing I can think of is petting a real live tiger....and living to tell about it.

I have not petted a tiger but I was up close and personal with one that was NOT in a cage, it was in the back of a guys truck, just chillin' while he pumped gas :)

I would be too scared to pet a tiger, but I have held hands with an orangutan. I love those things!

i saw on tv this temple in Thailand or Burma where the tigers are quite tame and you can go and pet them if you're brave enough.
I want to swim with whales.

I have a list, but it's mostly in my head and I am happy to report that I have managed to do some of them! yay!

I've been off searching for my muse (or I should say a new one as the old one got the sack - even though it quit first lol). I'm happy to report that I am back (kind of) but probably not as much as before.

I would like to see some whales up close, not necessarily while I'm in the water though LOL

Deej, I'm getting new specs later this year and the menus n stuff are back anyway ;D

That's a good idea for a blog topic. I haven't felt highly creative lately, either. It's winter, what can I say?

The Yaris is nice, but when the time comes I'll probably look for something with a little more storage room. As long as it's easy on gas.

BTW, I have no yen to pet a tiger. Unless it's a tiger kitten.
