Life in the new home

Well hello there my fellow bloggers!
I do hope you've all been behaving yourselves...? No? Hee hee.
So, here I am sat at my new computer desk, typing on my new laptop (yes, another one - lonnng story, boring too) sat on my (secondhand) new to me chair, in my new lounge in my new home.
How delightful is that?!? Very, I say :D
How am I liking life in my new home? Oh I don't like it. I LOVE it!
It's the best thing I've ever done heeeeeeeeeeee.
This is now my 3rd week here and I still can't believe that it's my home. It kind of feels like I'm on holiday or something.
The flat is gorgeous and we've got it the way we like it. My room is looking pretty good too ;)
The area we live in is soooooo quiet and we have plenty of countryside around us to explore.The neighbours are great and they too are really quiet (plus one of them keeps giving us cake. If she wasn't an older woman I'd think she was a feeder LOL)
And finally, our local pub is 9mins walk away, serves great food and has a bloody good beer garden to sit in on those (when we get them) sunny days LOL.
The bizarre thing is that 2 days after moving in, both my flatmate and I commented on how it felt like we have lived here for ages. It feels so welcoming and so far, everyone who's been to visit has said the same thing :D
That's a good sign, right?
Everything from start to finish has gone really smoothly, including setting up a phone line and broadband!
*sigh* me is happy...

It's like a lot of things in life: All the preparatory work (packing and unpacking, finding and unfinding) really sucks, but when all is said and done, it really was all worth the effort. So you sound like a happy lady. Yay for you!
Umm, are you going to hit the pub in your bustier some night when the moon is full?
