I loose my things quite regularly, keys, wallet, jewelery, my problem is setting them down and then not remembering where I set them "was it on the headboard? or the dresser? or the computer desk? so I rush about madly trying to find what I need at times lol.

hahahahha Yep, I do that too sometimes. I lost my cars the other day, I emptied my bag out, ramsacked the whole flat and STILL couldn't find them. My housemate had a look in my bag and there they were...how I missed them I don't know...
(I think my housemate sneaked them in *sniff* how else could I have missed them? hahahahahha Thant's my explanation and I'm sticking to it ;) )

Maybe you go on your hands and knees and make a spectacle of yourself. Like you're calling a reluctant pet. "Puccini? Here, Pucci, Pucci, Pucci! Mommy's got a snack for you!"

Don't know if that works on missing CDs. I was missing some CDs recently--and then I found them in a box that I assumed they couldn't possibly be in. "No, that's there I put my _other_ CDs."

But that's what happens when you "assume" something. Because it makes an ASS out of U and ME. (Old joke.)

By the way, I know you use different spellings in the UK than in the States. So is that word spelled ARSEUME over there?
